REALIZATION OF THE PROJECT CO-FINANCED WITH THE MEANS FROM EEA FINANCIAL MECHANISM PL0321 CALLED: "ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY HOSPITAL - MODERN BOILER ROOM AS A BEGINNING OF PRO-ECOLOGICAL CHANGES IN THE MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL NO. 1" HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
The direct Project objective is to decrease the consumption of thermal energy by replacement of outdated boilers with a new power-efficient gas/oil boilers.
The following has been done within the Project:
1. Modernization of heat sources for central heating, hot tap water and ventilation in the scope including:
- disassembly works in the area of heat exchangers room,
- purchase and assembly of heat exchangers and other fixtures and ancillary equipment:
- water-water exchanger - 3 units and steam-water exchangers - 2 units,
- shunt pumps - 2 units,
- loading pumps - 4 units,
- circulating pumps - 4 units,
- hot tap water storage vessels - 4 units,
- expansion vessels - 4 units,
- construction works in the area of heat exchangers room
2. Modernization of heat source - boiler room as a basic source and reserve source for heating and technology in the scope including:
- disassembly works in the area of boiler room,
- purchase and assembly of boiler devices - assembly works and purchase of fixtures and ancillary equipment:gas-fired steam boilers 250kW - 1 unit, 300kW - 1 unit, gas-fired water boiler 600kW - 1 unit,
- installation of Control and Measurement Instruments and Automation,
- electric works in the area of boiler room,
- creating of oil storage area,
- gas and oil installation within the area of boiler room,
- construction works in the area of boiler room,
3. Installation of solar collectors in the scope covering:
- installation of a supporting structure for solar collectors,
- purchase of solar collectors,
- assembly of 180 solar collectors having total surface 417.60 m²
An agreement with Wachelka Integris Company, a Contractor, was signed on 15.07.2010.
Planned date of investment completion 11.04.2011.
The estimated level of power consumption limitation based on the energy audit of 2009 carried out by the "KORTERM" Technical, Design and Education Services, is presented in the table 1.
